Nathan Rees MP, Minister for Water as he outlines the NSW Government's objectives in securing NSW's long term water supply and the financial framework within which it will be achieved. The Minister's presentation will be complemented by Mr. James Cox, CEO and full time member of the Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal (IPART) as he elaborates on the draft revised framework for developer service charges.

The Environmental Planning and Assessment Amendment Act 2008, was gazetted on 25 June 2008. This legislation was the culmination of 18 months of advocacy by UDIA NSW and represents the most significant planning reforms in 30 years. UDIA NSW Senior Policy Officer, Mr Tim Robertson will explain what the planning reforms will mean in practice. He will reveal implications for plan making, development applications and development contributions and how they will affect your business.
