The Hyde by Stockland
The Hyde embodies a very unique response to high-density living as a clean slender skyscraper with its crown dematerialising into the sky. The Hyde inscrutably espouses grandeur of an iconic urban statement yet its personality touches each individual through thoughtful gestures found in the meticulous attention to detail. The signature green landscaping fins extend Hyde Park’s up the front facade and transparency of the ground lobby draw Hyde Park through to a tranquil rear landscaped courtyard, and allow by-passers to see a most spectacular lobby. An impressive infinity edge pool and other recreational facilities provide superior amenities overlooking the park.
Residents experience a delightful sequence of spaces coming from the street into a double height volume with water gardens, ‘in your verdant view’ an exquisite piece by Janet Laurence, a crystal chandelier that resembles a snap-frozen waterfall in an art-deco inspired modern interior; through common lift lobbies where seraphic glass panels illustrate plant motifs taken from Hyde Park before entering their apartment where WOHA have meticulously considered all aspects of apartment living from creating open-plan flexibility yet privacy between rooms in superior layouts with high ceilings through to well-planned joinery in kitchens, bathrooms and bedrooms and well-resolved detailing throughout.
Re-defining high-rise living in a development which far exceeds customer expectations and having demonstrated industry best practice throughout its delivery from inception, The Hyde is truly an architectural icon embracing its location on Hyde Park, taking its rightful place on the world stage alongside the esteemed properties of Central Park, New York and Hyde Park, London.
